Set during the 1970s, the Emergency has been declared in India and these outlaws who belong to the Thakur community are being hunted down by Gujjar (Ashutosh Rana), police-officer seeking revenge. Man Singh’s gang comprises of Lakhan (Sushant Singh Rajput) and Vakil Singh (Ranvir Shorey) among others. The story in short – In the ravines of Chambal, Man Singh (Manoj Bajpayee) and his gang terrorize the village folk.

The audience also felt that the film might not be able to breathe due to the release of Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi.
Summing it up, the film is a good watch with an abstruse message to take home. The audience found Bhumi’s presence on the screen very refreshing and they also feel that Shushant is keeping the film together. According to one of the movie-goers, director Abhishek Chaubey has won the game of story-telling. While we all have seen Manoj Bajpayee and Ashutosh Rana in such gritty roles before, they have mastered the art to impress the audience in the film once again.
